Traveling Through DarkClan (Allies Patrol - that's the name - THAT'S WHO WE ARE! HOO-HAH!)

Gorseclaw, warrior of DarkClan, was walking in the mountain territory of his home. He and a few other cats of DarkClan were heading west, down into the lowland territories to ask the other Clans if they would be willing to ally themselves with DarkClan and fight against Mudblood.
They'd been walking for about half a day at this point.
The beige warrior continued walking in silence.

Silverpaw sighed softly as she walked next to her mentor, Gorseclaw (also her older brother by a few years).
The gray she-cat was fretting over how they would be presenting themselves to TawnyClan, or DewClan, or whomever they ran into first.
How friendly do we need to look? How serious do we need to be? Should we look a little pitiful, or brave and strong? Or...what? I bet it'll seem weird for DarkClan to go around asking for help - it's not what we're known for...I guess we should seem peaceful and sincere, but a little wary, too...yeah...
There was a chance that they were doomed.
Silverpaw rolled her eyes at her own ominous thought as she continued walking.

OOC: that's some awesome topic name you got there!

IC: Hollowstripe followed by the side of Silverpaw and Sorestare, feeling just plainly out of place for the strange reason. It may had been her size.. But Silverpaw was exactly her height, possibly even taller. Possibly her strength? All the other senor warriors here were to what she thought 'The best of the best. The ones she looked up to'. She grew a bit more warily as the face of Sunmist waded into her head. She had definitely looked up to the warrior as the time of an apprentice. But now looking up to her was the last thing she'd want to do! She was sly, and rude, and everything that Hollowstripe wasn't!
She unthinkingly let out a slight sigh to her deep thoughts.

Sorestare winced to his paws. The earth was wet, but here, the pieces of burnt trees and broken down debris was still wafting in the air. It must had been pandemonium , he thought, turning his disfigured gaze to the front of him, where only small blurred fragments of carnage could be seen. " And you all survived This?" He mewed unbelievably, his paws feeling awkward against the soot covered rocks and slimy ground.

"StarClan above," Bronzepaw mewed quietly. It seemed strange to speak in such a broken, open place.
The tom was too thinking about the Clans they'd meet with. He wasn't so concerned about meeting up with the other Clans - after all, he was the one who had befriended two rogues within DarkClan territory (something that proved to be a mistake to mention to Redstar!), so going to the other Clans didn't seem to be that great of a stretch to him.
"How many were there, anyways," he asked Hollowstripe. He looked at her with a cool expression, feeling like he had been purposefully been kept from something worthwhile.
Goldpaw seemed older when he returned from the Gathering and the battle with Mudblood. The others look at him with respect; I am still looked down on as a lowly apprentice, though I am the same age as he. Yes, I am more slight in frame than my brother and sister, but I am still son of Thornstar, and a great warrior in my own right.

OOC: I just noticed something: I'm Hollowstripe's apprentice, but for some Bronzepaw didn't go to the Gathering with his mentor...?????????

OOC: If you meant Hollowstripe, then I can say that out of only a few she could choose to join the gathering, Bronzepaw was the last on her choices... As well as she JUST became a mentor and a deputy..

IC: Hollowstripe drew her attention from the front of her to her apprentice, " Originally, it was about as much as our gathering patrol, but they grew in numbers as the fight went on," she choked the words, remembering how much blood had been spilt. " You would have been great to fight beside," she added, noticing that he had grown a bit more pouty from the silence.

OOC: Didn't see a mention of a down facial expression...

IC: Silverpaw glanced at her brother briefly. He's been acting strange lately; I guess missing a battle means something to him...Strange. That doesn't seem too much like him...
The gray she-cat shrugged slightly, looking to where she would be stepping next so she didn't trod on charred splinters.

Gorseclaw didn't say anything to his younger brother, but he was listening. The young tom, he'd noted, had never tried to wildly prove himself before as Goldpaw had in the past, or as Silverpaw had been known to do once in a while. If anything, he was more like their half-brother, Jaycall...
But then, no one really understands Jaycall - or Robinsong, wherever she's gotten to...
The beige tom looked to Sorestare then looked at Hollowstripe as he mewed, "With all of the damage, I'd think that some Clans may have fled their territories. TawnyClan especially," he'd seen the excess of smoke before it had cleared a few days past. "But I noticed something strange; I never saw any smoke coming from the south-west, even when the wind blew from that direction..."
Silverpaw spoke; "DewClan wasn't attacked."
Gorseclaw glanced at his younger sibling. "The thought's been in my mind..."

Of course, Silverpaw thought. Redstar said DewClan wasn't at the Gathering...that could mean that A), maybe they're all already dead and Mudblood is in their territory, or B), maybe they're with Mudblood...
The gray she-cat unsheathed her claws nervously for a second at B as she walked.
A Clan leader would do anything to ensure the survival of his Clan. It's good politics. It'd probably be best to stay away, either way, I think...

Bronzepaw ignored Hollowstripe's last sentence and looked at his brother and sister.
"AbyssClan lives that way, too." Perhaps they have allied themselves with Mudblood? No... There are many possibilities, but this one seems rather unlikely. They're too proud, if the tales are true. If anything, the only possibilities are that AbyssClan wasn't attacked due to fear or ignorance, or their fires were put out far quicker due to their proximity to the City, and within it, the water-bearing two-legs...the latter seems likely.

OOC: RPing Bronzepaw makes me feel SMART.
Silverpaw's kinda all "Am I right? Am I right? Huh?" and Bronzepaw's all like "I'm right. I'm right. Just cuz I am."

OOC: This should be put back into activity! Sorry guys/gals. And LS... No, nothing was explained of Bronzepaw's expression, Hollowstripe took it as him being sad by the thought of his silence I guess, Just an error to not be fixed

Hollowstripe drew her eyes to the Dewclan territory. Not a scratch of heated debris was laid in their territory, as they all said. " Dewclan's swamps and bogs must be overflowing with all this rain. That could had stopped Mudbloods dead in their tracks." She thought out loud, drawing her attention to the steep incline and falling pebbles and sticks in front of her.

Sorestare didn't speak a word as he knew none were for him to say. Hollowstripe must be right now.. With all the heat until this moment, the marshes would never be able to suck in all the water needed, making grime and quicksand to a cat's wonders. He tensed his paws closer to his body as he walked to keep himself from falling down the hill like a tumbleweed.

"Maybe," Gorseclaw meowed. "We'll know more when we start meeting other Clan cats." The beige tom fell silent, only the sound of his pads touching brittle, soggy debris in the air.

Silverpaw was quiet too, her head awhirl with all of the possibilities. If DewClan is with Mudblood, she shivered slightly, then it will definitely make our journey more interesting. This brought up another question. "If we see any cats from MudbloodClan, what will we do?"

Hollowstripe threw her eyes to her friend, " I say the second we even smell one, look for cover. We don't want them seeing us." She mewed tensely, thinking of what horrors could bring from them being caught by those flea-bags!

Sorestare took a moment to think about Hollowstripe's words, " That would be the best idea. Most mudbloods patrolling would report even an ant to their leader! More or less a cat?" He shook his head, softly leaping over a charcoal splattered tree branch, being sure that his still in tact paws didn't get injured before they met any true danger.

OOC: I'm thinking, since Tawnyclan was thrown out of their territory, and most of Dewclan is away venturing to Abyssclan, AND Abyssclan moving their own clan camp... This is going to be a fun road trip!

OOC: Yep! It's all turning out swimmingly!

IC: Gorseclaw glanced at the deputy then to the other senior warrior and nodded. "Agreed." He looked at Silverpaw, who nodded in turn.
"Sounds best," she mewed to him before focusing on her path again.
It was seeing her look of cold determination that reminded Goreclaw that, though Silverpaw was an apprentice, she was old enough to be a warrior - but more than that, with her gray fur, she reminded him of Thornstar. Out of all seven of Thornstar's kits, she looked the most like him.
Gorseclaw briefly entertained a notion that all of Thornstar's descendants were doomed to insanity like Roninsong, but he brushed away the thought quickly.
Instead, he said, "We should keep heading to the base of the mountain until moonhigh. It's late now, and the full moon will light our way." He looked around at the blackened debris again. "Not as though there are many things to step on now."

OOC: I'm thinking after another post or two, we'll time skip, post a little more, then start a new topic.

OOC: Aaand, nothing.

IC: The group walked in silence, not finding many things more to say about the great battle and fire that had taken place in the part of the territory they were walking through.
There didn't seem to be many good things to say those passing moons.
The forest and it's silence was unnerving, was Gorseclaw's thought, and talking would just make it more so right now...

Many sun shifts later, now past sun-high, the ends of DarkClan territory was in sight.
From where they were, the DarkClan cats could see the other territories before them; the shining forests of DewClan, the shadowed forests of AbyssClan, the faint smudge of the City, and the charred ruin that was TawnyClan. There was the river, the marshes, the cliffs; but most of all, there was the Blood Stones.
"We can rest when we reach the Blood Stones," Gorseclaw mewed as he walked, disturbing the silence.

OOC: I think I'm just going to make a new topic there, indicating a time skip.
