Border patrols

Cloudscar, a white and ginger tom with a nasty scar on his handsome face, was patrolling borders. It wasn't something that was done often since the borders were rarely breached and no one wanted to see the rotten forest below, much less catch a scent of it on the clear, frigid winds of their home.
Moonclan liked the cleanliness of their home, the utter cold that insured no one would bother them. The scents of the forest below were warm and sickly - it made Cloudscar want to hurl.
Whitelight, a golden she-cat and sister to Goldenlight, was on the patrol as well and could only agree. She tried to breath as little as possible while they were on the North-East side of their mountains.
"Let's get this over with," she mewed miserably.
Cloudscar gave a quiet mew of agreement.
