History : (Once a National Champion Halter horse. Her owners lost all their money after the husband spent years of gambling and dealing with alcoholic issues, after the property was foreclosed on, the owner's could not pay to hire the trailer to haul her to her new owner, so she was to be captured and sold to pay for the rest of the money the family owed. Being intelligent she evaded her captors and escaped down the coast where they lived. She traveled for months and eventually collapsed from exhaustion and wounds from a mountain lion. But with a final surge of strength, she walked that last mile to find herself in new lands. Where she now resides in peace.)

The bay mare swept a chocolate brown gaze over the treeline. Snorting warily as if assuring herself that all would be alright. Her hooves ached from a full phase of moon of travel. Her head hung low from fatigue. Too long had her instincts been engaged in flight mode, that now she had none left for fight. And after that encounter with a prowling mountain lion, the two claw marks stung and stretched with her haunches' movements. A constant reminder of what the world held in it's depths. Her ears pricked attentively as she trotted with all the grace of her breed. Her high set tail fell over her back as she flicked it anxiously. Her hooves sinking into deep moss and foliage. Her stomach clenched with hunger. Growling and gurgling hungrily at it's disapproval for such lack of respect for it's needs. Her streamline form swept over a sculpted face for the ages to arch over a neck bowed to look as if it waited for it's arrow. Her withers fell at a gentle slope to progress into toned muscle and strength. Through all of this, she strode quietly through the forest. Smelling everything of interest. And of potential danger. Lost in thought a familiar odor made it's way to her naturally flared nostrils. So overcome with longing and forgotten happiness she involuntarily whinnied as loud as her heart would let her. Mid-note she cut off her voice in fear. What if horses weren't the only thing that heard the Arabian beauty?

Callista's Knight? So any random horse who walks by would say 'Hi there, Callista's Knight!'?

hahah no no. You see registered horses have "Show names" Because in the show world you cant just say oh look Annie won! or Spots or speckles won first place! It's names like Guns Ablazing, or Da Vinci, or Huckleberry Bey. But you call them by nicknames.
So Callista's Knight is her SHOW NAME but her nickname would be maybe Callie or something entirely different like CC or Cal.
